Now
I'll tie them in a bundle
and let them air dry
before they get tucked
into a

And,
I just couldn't resist...

flowers are very pretty :).
I used to do that with the flowers, but now I'm laughing so hard, because I never even thought of counting them first! too funny..
Pretty little flowers. I cheated by sometimes pulling two at once towards the end if it didn't look like it was going my way.

BLS flowers are among my favorites. When I would visit Brown County, Indiana (a wonderful little artists' colony filled with shops) I would see them growing everywhere alongside moonbeam coreopsis and I fell in love with them.
I would do "He loves me, he loves me not" with flowers, too. I guess I was just plain dumb, however -- I never thought to count ahead or rig it to come out my way!! Hah -- I love that you girls did that..... too funny!!
Such lovely pics of such pretty flowers. Have a great weekend....
I have always loved the cheery color of black eyed suzy's. So bold and bright. I have to admit it has been agaes sine I did love me, loves me not. But I don't remember counting the petals.
there is always something special about a blackeyed susan! Can't wait to see the finished pocket with hem in it!
ooo we used to do that with daisy's :) and use buttercups under the chin to see if you saw a reflection you liked butter !!! love mouse xxx
Love your beautiful blog and yes many times counted the daisy petals, and made daisy chains, made one only the other week for my father who is now in a nursing home, when we were sitting in the gardens on a nice sunny afternoon.
Hmmmm....I guess you're just a little brighter than some of us, Brenda...truly - never thought of actually counting the petals! Love the flowers though! Have a wonderful weekend! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
i love black eyed susans. i just can't seem to get them to grow in fl. denise
I don't think I've ever cheated at he loves me, he loves me not. Let the chips fall where they may, ya know? Never put much stock in it either! Glad you found some. They're easy to transplant if you have a spot in your yard. Dig some up and plant. Water frequently, especially in the heat, and you have your own!
