It's that time of year...

when one doesn't need to tune into the weather on the TV, radio or weather.com for the local weather...

we just know we are in for snow. It is high school state basketball tournament week here in Iowa and that means snow, guaranteed. While the positive minded folk tends to think...it won't last long. I don't tend to belong with these folk...I am ready for warm, wet & muddy spring-time weather. Then there is the old wives-tale that it snows 6 times on a robin's back...haven't even seen the first robin yet here in NW Iowa...robin's please hurry!

Here in the UK the sun is beginning to come out, daffs are starting to bloom, birds are twittering but if I see a robin or two I will direct them your way.

It does look chilly but then you can snuggle up and stitch or quilting is cosy! :)

I'm with you, Brenda. Enough already! Although this has been one of the sunniest winters I can remember - it has been cold and snow and I'm over it!

I was born and raised in South Dakota, and we were always guaranteed a blizzard for the State Championships, as well. Now I'm in Maryland, and I woke up to snow this morning. On my crocus and daffodils! Here's hoping Spring will arrive soon.

LOL, Brenda I feel your pain! It keeps snowing here in Wisconsin. I just want to see some green grass and tulips. No robins around here either.
Enjoy your day,
Leanne
