NEW CROSS STITCH PATTERNS!

Pleased to introduce to you 3 new cross stitch patterns
from
With thy Needle & Thread...

FRAIDY FELIX

Pattern for a 10" cat that is full of whimsy. Felix's sampler pocket is stitched on 30 count Onyx linen (by Weeks Dye Works) over 2 threads. The Iowa summer-time road ditches helped inspire this design....They are beautiful this time of year, full of Black-Eyed Susan's, Pink Cone flowers & Queen Anne's Lace. I love to stop and pick bouquets of these wild flowers, as they dry so beautifully. Felix's tummy pocket is brimming full of dried road-ditch floral and a paper star. Woolly facial features are whip stitched to the face for added texture & charm. The piece is then gently dusted with ground cinnamon for a wonderful prim look.

OH CHRISTMAS TREE

Pattern for a sparkling 9" snowman decoration. The snowman's tummy pocket has various winter-time motifs stitched on 32 count Belfast linen over 2 threads. A big red woolly scarf keeps Frosty's nose nice & warm. Fresh cedar pine, candy cane pipe cleaners & a hand-made vintage snowflake are carefully tucked into the pocket for extra detail. A fun & quick stitch!

FRUIT FOR A SONG

"I value my garden for being full of birds than of berries & very frankly give them fruit for their song."

I have always loved this verse & it was the inspiration for this new sampler pattern. Design is worked on 40 New Castle Linen over 2 threads with DMC flosses. I chose an antique picture frame with a dark Federal Blue shade of paint. I tend to live by this verse, as our backyard is full of Service Berry trees & various Viburnum bushes...all producing yummy fruit for our fine-feathered friends. And a BIG "Thank You" to Susanna for your lovely stitching abilities on this piece!

Release date for these patterns is tomorrow, August 9th. Patterns are now available for purchase online at www.countrystitchesonline.com
