Announcing a series of 12 new little charts,
one for each month.
These are quick stitches
that can be easily stitched
in a weeks worth of stitching,
while enjoying
your morning coffee.
Anyone else do this?
Morning coffee stitching?
Tis my favorite part of the day...
Freshly brewed coffee,
the house is still dark,
the only light on,
is the one I'm stitching under,
and
the only sounds are the choirs of crickets
and
the cardinals coming in to feed...
It is often during this quiet stitching time
that I'm thinking of what's next...
one for each month.

I'm showing a snippet of the first release,
October.
What I'm not revealing
on the piece
is a sweet little witch
whose iron cauldron
has become overgrown
with
bittersweet vine!
Oh, no!
Various words pertaining to the month
are scrabbled onto the linen
along with fun little motifs.
The finished size
is approximately 7" x 4".
Each pattern will be released
on the 1st of the preceding month
(with the exception of Octobers...it will release shortly after the Labor Day Holiday).
Here is a list of themes for this series:
January - snowy days
February - cupid & love
March - everyday/strong words
April - Easter
May - Spring
June - Gardening
July - Patriotic
August - Everyday/strong words
September - Everyday/strong words
October - Halloween
November - Harvest/Thanksgiving
December - Christmas
Also on a side note...
We are patiently waiting for linens from various suppliers
that we used on our latest releases.
We always try hard to order this, well ahead of time, before the release of the patterns. We got part of our order, but not all of it. So here we are once again, waiting for the UPS/FedEx man every day, with hopes that our linen will be on the truck that day. We hold orders with hopes that it will be coming today...
Maybe today will be the day that we'll feel like
giving the UPS/FedEx man a big ole smooch...
we'll keep our fingers crossed!
As of yesterday,
all orders that were for a pattern and it's appropriate linen only...
we shipped the pattern
and put the linen on back order for you.
I really dislike doing this,
but
please know
we've got a piece of linen
reserved for you.
And one last announcement,
Country Stitches
will be closed
this Friday through the Monday Labor Day holiday.
I'm taking some days off to spend with family.
Have a good day everyone,
Brenda

Good Morning, Brenda, the little samplers sound like perfect projects. Can't wait to
see October's witch.
Warm Regards,
Susan B., Western MA
Excited about the monthly themed pieces. Well be keeping my eye out for the little witch.

I am sipping my tea and just read your post about your new little monthly samplers. They sound wonderful, and I can't wait to pick up the October one and start stitching it! I just finished my Mystery Sampler last night, and must tell you, Brenda, that I have loved every minute of stitching it. Our LNS Wed. morning stitching group has been doing it as a SAL, and it has been great fun seeing one another's progress each week.
Thank you for creating such beautiful and inspiring needlework for us!

Your new monthly samplers look wonderful! The little witch sounds very intriguing too.
Morning stitching has always been my favourite part of the day to stitch. The house is so still and gradually I hear the sound of the birds starting to fill the air outside my window.....so peaceful. I accomplish some of my best stitching then.
I love this idea of twelve little samplers. I can't wait. There goes my new purchase diet. I love the quiet of the early morning-my alone time before the noise of the day begins.
Oh, I can't wait for these to come out!!Great idea!! Have a wonderful day.

Good morning Brenda, I LOVE the new piece you showed this morning. I am really looking forward to this series. I will be watching for it!
these monthly samplers sound interesting....can't wait to see October complete.
This is beyond cute! I'm going to have to save my pennies so I can play along each month.
The new monthly charts sound great, and I love what you've shown of the the October chart. Are they all a similar size so they can be stitched together on one piece of fabric?
Ahhhh...a witch and bittersweet - could you have made it any more tempting?! But, alas, morning stitching?? 'Fraid my eyes are too dependent on caffeine too...so no morning stitchin' for this crow....The series sounds intriguing - and if they're all as sweet as the first appears to be, you have another hit on your hands!! Enjoy your family time! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
I'm excited! You are a very talented woman! Have a great weekend with family!
Oh, I am looking forward to this series, most definitely because it starts with October...my birth month. Can't wait to see the little witchey.
So instead of stalking the postie, you're stalking the UPS man AND the Fedex man, just in case! No fun when you're disappointed over and over. Here's hoping your linen comes in soon, Brenda.
You have the best ideas for stitching!
These look wonderful. Could you explain what "everyday/strong words" means?
Thanks!
OOOOOO - so excited about the new monthly series - love the rich warm colors in your sneak peak - just got Witch Hazel for my mom to stitch and she is too cute ! you're really cranking out some awesome pieces. Enjoy your quiet times - melody
I am going to tell my LNS to sign me up for the monthly mysteries. I love your Birds of a Feather mystery though I am only on part two, but love every minute of stitching it.
I can't wait to see more of this design and all the rest! They sound wonderful.
BTW, I made your Mac n Cheese the other night! My boys wanted a M&C recipe because the boxed stuff was "for little kids". It was a hit! Thanks for sharing!
I love stitching early in the peaceful morning also! Either on the porch or by a window that I love!!
Looking forward to the Little Stitcheries! (if that is a word:)
Hi Brenda & nice to met you.
Wonderful sampler!
Greetings from Tuscany, Italy
