So it's last evening at the

Gervais household...

it's that time of night where the husband settles into his TV trance, remote at hand.

Meanwhile, I'm over at the computer being serenaded by the hum of infra-red (yes, you eagle addicts know what I'm talking about) while updating the website with new goodies.

When I look over at the dh and he looks at me....there is an exchange of looks, if you will, as he carefully picks up my stitching mess to make room for his cute little be-hind. I'm sure he was thinkin', I wish she'd do something with this bleepidy bleepidy stuff and I'm thinkin' don't mess with my floss, I have a sophisticated floss system going there... He then nicely says, "How many things do you have going at once here, dear?" My reply, just 3....{sigh} Gosh, I love this guy and am most thankful that he puts up with this stitching addiction of mine.

Did I mention I love my kitty too? We fight over that spot... and... well...today I'll let him win!

Sorry guys, and thanks for putting up with me,

Brenda

Dear Brenda,
My daughter introducted me to the eagles as I was retiring in February. I spend a lot of my day watching the eagles....thanks for letting us know about them. Also, my daughter ordered your eagle sampler pattern and can't wait for her to make it so I can hang it in my dining room. I love your blog and got you in my favorites.
Thanks for making my day!

Sounds like my house! My family knows to ask before moving anything from my stitching spot on the couch....our chaos is controlled chaos after all. All so worth it! Love the kitty! ~Kriss~

I have to say - that kitty of yours is one gorgeous specimen! And coming from someone who has her own furbabies, that compliment is not given lightly! ;o) Hugs & Smiles ~ Robin

My stitching spot on the chaise part of the sectional is off limits to everyone. It may look like clutter, but it is my kind of organized!
Thanks for the eagle updates...I just can't watch ALL day!

I just got my chart in the mail! I am so thrilled and I can hardly wait to start stitching! It is so beautifully printed/packaged! I've read everything on it about the eagles. So interesting! Thank you for introducing all of us to the eagle story on your blog. I have watched them in every spare moment! It is really fascinating. Also, everyone will be thrilled to see that you included suggested thread colors on the chart! Thank you for creating this beautiful pattern and for enlightening us with all of this eagle information! Frances
PS--Your cat is so pretty!

Oh, I am chomping at the bit to find my Soar pattern in my mailbox! Maybe tomorrow...

The little ones look like they are being well fed. I bet we're going to see some big changes in the next couple of weeks. What a fun diversion.
