for the bad news...
Springtime in Iowa, gotta luv it, don't ya??!!! And those orange and white cones...that is what we call Iowa's 5th season...road construction. Yep, gonna be right outside my door for most of the summer...lovely.

And my poor tulip bed this morning...do I pick them or leave them???

Hoping your weather is better then ours,
Brenda

  1. Your Ann sampler is beautiful. You have been a busy bee lately!

I'd leave the tulip...I think it will perk up again, but I'll be interested to read others' views. We missed getting a ton of snow overnight by about four degrees. The robins are loving our conditions in the Cleveland area.

  2. Leave the tulip--it will be too much of a shock to bring it in. I too think it will perk up. Being miserable with the oak pollen here, I'd trade for your snow! But I remember living up north and hating April snow--it is supposed to be spring then darn it. The sampler is lovely. a brown mutt in georgia

  8. Brenda,
We have had snow here in New Hampshire in late spring in the past, after some of my bulbs have flowered. Tulips are pretty resilient, so I would just leave it. The snow probably won't last too long--fingers and toes crossed!
Love, love your new sampler. It's beautiful. I will definitely be ordering that one.

Here in eastern SD we are getting mostly drizzle with some snow mixed in once in a while. I just want some sunshine and soon.

  12. No snow in Omaha... but, cold & dreary! It's my spring break from the school job! Was hoping for some warm & sunshine to get motivated for our Spring Open House! Hopefully we will all get some nice spring weather before we start complaining about the heat and humidity! lol!

  13. Your Ann sampler is sooooooo pretty!

I'd leave the tulip, spring bulb flowers are pretty resilent. Sorry about the road construction outside your door. That's no fun!

  14. Windy and about 78 in East Texas. Farther south in Austin wildfires, lots of acres burned down. Poor eagles, I can't handle watching them sitting there all wet, camera was a little clearer then this morning... I would pick the tulip and enjoy it, being from Holland I love having tulips in the house. Hope the road constructions is not too long...
