over night...
She frosted everything
with a
beautiful
white
coating,
making
the red boy
look
extra red
this
beautiful
winter
morning...
The red boy
was my morning coffee
entertainment,
flitting from snow covered branch
to
snow covered branch.
I'm pretty sure he was thinking,
hurry up lady
and
drink that coffee,
and
get your boots on,
and
come out
and feed me.
It's Friday, yayyyyy!
Off to do my bird chores,
Brenda
Your photos are beautiful Brenda! I love the one with the cardinal. He looks so striking against all that white.
ReplyDeleteThe same storm system is headed our way and expected to dump 6-7 inches. It should be starting anytime so I'm thinking this is a good day for stitching and a cup of mint chocolate rooibos tea!
Looks the same out my window. We got 5 inches last night. Very pretty, but I need a few minutes to destress, I just returned from the morning commute!!
ReplyDeleteLooking @ that lamp post in the snow, do you live on the edge of Narnia & Spareoom?
ReplyDeleteBrrr...that's what I say! Your Red friend looks magnificent.
ReplyDeleteLovely pics, Brenda. I woke up to the same, lots of pretty snow :) Enjoy your day!

Great photos... but honestly? I am glad the snow is at your house and not mine.... brrrrrrrrr
ReplyDeleteYou can send the red cardinal this way though. :-) We have the gray desert cardinals here.
Keep warm, and feed our birdie friends.
So pretty! Send it my way:)
