    Fun to watch! I loved the miniatures. Couldn't believe some of the prices.

    It was FABULOUS to watch...the pieces so beautiful...the prices much more than I could imagine. Being an incurable romantic, I can't help reflecting on the stitchers of these beauties.

    Never seen a live auction, what I beautiful samplers! May be our generation make some beautiful embroidery that are on sale in the next century!

    I caught most of it!! What a beautiful selection of samplers. And I was so surprised at some of the prices. Wish that I could have bought one!

    The Betty Ring total sale was over 4 million USD. Keep on stitching, ladies.....a simple sampler done today may be worth a fortune in years hence!!

    I just saw an article indicating that the sampler auctions netted in excess of 4.3 million dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!
