Stitched once again,
some 191 years later,
with thy needle & thread...
The Ann Dickinson sampler
will be stitched
once again.
Beginning date,
the day after Christmas
2010...
My linen of choice,
30 count over-dyed linen
by R&R Reproductions
worked over 2 threads
using DMC flosses.
The little basket of fruit
reminded me of the
little clementine mandarin oranges
that we all feasted upon
during this holiday season...
My goal is to stitch
at least one motif a day,
until I get to the center panel
and bottom border...
this will take a few more days.

I noticed an X that was not crossed on the fruit on the bottom left and the same thing on the top edge of the basket.
It's looking great already. You've put an extra row of cream in the basket I think.
I didn't see any mistakes. I enjoy fruit baskets - they are fun to stitch. Never mind alphabets, I enjoy stitching those, too --- L.
btw, the little flower is lovely, too. Excellent colors
If you are looking to replicate this yes there is a mistake only one that needleworkers would see. Remember the rest of the world will see it only as priceless!

What a wonderful project for The New Year! Makes me want to get out my strong readers and Ott light. The hoar frost is lovely. We used to see a lot of that when we lived in Colorado. Happy New Year!
