I have seen so many new designers, with designs that look way too familiar;) I actually had a customer who bought one of mine, redo it and then sell it as her own pattern, some people.
I have great respect and admiration for your many talents and fabulous designs! Unfortunately, there are many who choose to skirt or "stretch" the copyright law...I feel it is correct to deal with them swiftly and directly. I was a bit taken aback by the method you chose to "share" this subject...seemed so out of character for you. Busy Hands...Happy Heart Patricia
Honestly, some things just need to be said and good for you for putting this info out there. No one will be offended if they are not "sharing". You are so talented and I completely respect that and am willing to pay for your patterns as everyone should be doing. Keep up the amazing work!
